Evaluate and monitor the progress of children aged birth to 5 years through Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs. Develop and adjust treatment plans while maintaining detailed electronic medical records and reports.
Candidates must hold a current New York State Licensure or Certification in Physical Therapy and a valid driver's license. Experience in early childhood therapy and proficiency with computer systems are required.
We are currently seeking Early Childhood/Pediatric Physical Therapists in the following areas:
Evaluate, monitor and track child’s progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Test and evaluate child’s abilities to determine realistic goals. Record information on the initial evaluation, treatment, and progress in a timely manner using Electronic Medical Record system. Proficient at writing detailed analysis and reports. Effectively organize and maintain confidentially of child’s records and other documentations. Follow all state laws and regulations as it pertains to Early Intervention, CPSE/CSE special education. Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience: Current New York State Licensure and/or Certification in Physical Therapy Knowledge of MS Word and comfortable with working with computer systems Valid Driver’s License Early Childhood Experience Great interpersonal and communication skills
