About the Role

As an Elementary Teacher at Stratford School, you will have the opportunity to work with our talented and highly motivated students to continue to build upon the knowledge foundation that was laid in the early elementary years and prepare them for the upper elementary school program. We take pride in the family atmosphere of our campuses, and your connection with your students will be an extension of this environment. You will also… Plan, supervise, and implement curriculum Collaborate with other faculty and staff members Monitor and assess student progress Maintain an ordered and arranged classroom environment What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Prior classroom experience in a upper elementary setting is preferred To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. In general, this position requires an individual to frequently walk, stand, sit, squat, stoop, reach, kneel, rise from the floor, twist, listen, read, write, and speak the English language. In addition, this position often requires an individual to carry, lift, use repetitive or fine hand movements, and occasionally push, pull, or bend. This position is regularly required to hear and use clear vision with or without correction.
