• Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lead Pre-K Teacher to join our team.
• In this role, you will create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans designed to nurture cognitive, emotional, and social growth.
• You'll collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to provide an inclusive and engaging learning environment that prepares children for Kindergarten and beyond.
• Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards Foster a classroom environment that promotes creativity, exploration, and active learning Use positive behavior management strategies to support children's social-emotional development Observe, assess, and document children’s progress and developmental milestones Collaborate with colleagues and families to build strong, supportive partnerships Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom space Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education (Required) PA Teaching Certification (Required) Minimum of 2 years experience working with preschool-aged children Strong knowledge of child development and early learning best practices Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills Commitment to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and positive learning environment
