About Us United Community Options of South Florida serves children and adults with a wide range of needs and abilities, including physical, intellectual, neurological, and developmental disabilities. We support individuals with conditions such as cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, Prader-Willi syndrome, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and those who are medically fragile or technology dependent. Many of our programs also serve typically developing children and adolescents. High School Diploma or GED required. Previous experience in human services, healthcare, behavioral health, education, caregiving, or developmental disabilities preferred. Valid Florida Driver's License with an acceptable driving record. Ability to pass required background screenings and drug testing. CPR and First Aid Certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire. Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to safely assist individuals with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
