The Assistant Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing activities for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. They must maintain a safe, nurturing environment to support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. A minimum of two years of related experience is required.
The Child Development Center provides high-quality childcare services to children of Baptist Health Lexington employees. The CDC is a play-based learning environment serving children 6 weeks-5 years of age. Assistant Teacher Full-Time Job Requirements: Responsible for planning and implementing activities for young children. Responsible for positive interactions with children, including those in primary grades, while assisting in the maintenance of a safe and nurturing environment in which children can grow physically, emotionally, socially and cognitively. Responsible for the transportation of children when required.
