Provide direct speech-language therapy, evaluations, and consultation services to elementary students. Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement IEP goals and support student success.
Requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active Illinois PEL and IDFPR licenses. School-based experience is preferred but not required.
Provide direct speech-language therapy to students with a variety of communication needs. Conduct evaluations and prepare comprehensive assessment reports. Develop and implement IEP goals and participate in IEP meetings. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student success. Maintain accurate documentation and service logs in accordance with district and state requirements. Support students' communication skills to promote academic, social, and functional success. Caseload & Work Environment Primary assignment with 1st–3rd grade students, with the possibility of supporting Preschool or 4th–5th grade depending on district needs. Woodland schools are known for their smaller caseloads and multiple SLPs at each building, creating a highly collaborative and supportive work environment. Dedicated office space provided.
Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement. Active Illinois IDFPR Speech-Language Pathologist License. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. School-based experience is preferred but not required.
