Provide academic, social, and behavioral support to students with special needs under the direction of teachers and administrators. Assist in implementing educational programming and performing one-on-one tutoring to help students reach their IEP goals.
A high school diploma is required, while an associate degree or two years of post-secondary education is preferred. Experience working in special education or behavioral healthcare with students facing complex emotional issues is desired.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma required. Associates Degree or completion of two years of post-secondary education from an accredited college or university preferred. EXPERIENCE: Previous experience working in a special education or behavioral healthcare setting with students with severe/complex behavioral/emotional issues preferred.
