Infant / Toddler Teacher – Early Learning Classroom
The Learning Experience – Gainesville is seeking a caring and dependable Infant / Toddler Teacher to support children during the most important stages of early development. This role focuses on creating a nurturing environment where infants and toddlers build secure relationships, develop confidence, strengthen communication skills, and explore the world through responsive caregiving and engaging learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities: Support daily classroom routines for infants and toddlers ages 6 weeks to 24 months
Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, and supervision throughout the day
Implement developmentally appropriate sensory activities and early learning experiences
Foster language development, social-emotional growth, and independence
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
Observe and document developmental milestones
Communicate regularly with families regarding routines, milestones, and daily progress
Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership
Follow Virginia childcare licensing and health and safety requirements
Qualifications: High school diploma required
Prior childcare experience required
Experience working with infants and/or toddlers preferred
Patient, nurturing, and team-oriented approach
Strong communication and organizational skills
Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
