About the Role

  • The ELL/LEP/Reading specialist plays a critical role in supporting English Language Learners (ELL) and Limited English Proficient (LEP) students to achieve academic success through targeted reading instruction and language development.
  • This position focuses on assessing students' language proficiency and literacy skills to design and implement effective instructional strategies tailored to diverse learning needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, TESOL, Reading, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification with endorsement or specialization in English as a Second Language (ESL), Bilingual Education, or Reading.
  • Demonstrated experience working with ELL/LEP students in an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of language acquisition theories, reading instruction methodologies, and assessment tools.

Preferred Qualifications
