The educational experience provided to our students and their families is rooted in a higher calling from God to honor and celebrate the gifts He has given us.Job Summary The Preschool Teacher provides a nurturing, faith-filled, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children.

Rooted in Catholic values, this role integrates spiritual, social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development while fostering a love of learning and respect for self and others.Job Responsibilities Faith Formation & Catholic Identity

Model and promote Catholic values, prayer, and moral development in the classroom. Participate in school liturgies, prayer services, and religious instruction as appropriate for preschool level. Collaborate with families to support the faith formation of each child.

Instruction & Curriculum

Plan and implement daily lessons that support the holistic development of preschool children, aligning with diocesan early childhood standards. Use play-based and hands-on learning experiences to promote curiosity and creativity. Differentiate instruction to meet individual needs and learning styles. Integrate faith, literacy, math, science, art, and social-emotional learning into the curriculum.

Classroom Environment & Management

Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom that encourages independence and cooperation. Establish routines and positive behavior expectations grounded in respect and Christian values. Observe and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating regularly with parents.

Collaboration & Professionalism

Work closely with assistant teachers, colleagues, and administration to ensure a cohesive early childhood program. Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school-wide activities. Communicate effectively with parents through conferences, newsletters, and daily interactions. Job Requirements

State teaching certification and/or diocesan certification (preferred).

Experience teaching or working with preschool-aged children.

Active, practicing Catholic preferred; commitment to supporting Catholic values required.

Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements
