The Girls Volleyball Head Coach is responsible for overseeing athletic training and strength and conditioning workouts, and for providing technical support and training to athletes, as appropriate to the sport. Coaches have responsibilities not only to the students under their supervision, but also to the parents, the school, and the community.

Exhibits and mentors the scholar-athletes in good sportsmanship and fair play. Attends mandatory coaches’ meetings. Monitors the conduct of their scholar-athletes during practices and games. Provides a safe environment for the scholar-athletes by checking the playing area and equipment before each practice and game/competition. Prevents injuries through thoughtful, balanced workouts. Instructs scholar-athletes in the basic rules and fundamentals of the sport. Assists in implementing training programs to develop athletes in the sport. Implements athlete registration and evaluations and maintains the evaluation database. Upholds Crystal’s core values. Fosters an equitable and inclusive team environment. Travel Required Light travel between the MS and US campuses. Travel to and from competitions in the Bay Area.
