We’re looking for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to step into a maternity leave assignment (September–December) supporting a preschool caseload of approximately 45 students. This is an on-site role within a school environment designed to help young learners strengthen foundational communication skills that shape lifelong learning.
In this role, you will be embedded within a collaborative special education ecosystem, delivering high-impact speech-language services that support early developmental growth. You’ll work alongside educators and support staff to help preschool students build confidence in expression, comprehension, and social communication.
Develop clear, data-informed evaluation reports and documentation. Evaluate speech and language abilities using formal and informal assessment tools. Deliver individualized, direct speech-language therapy services to preschool students. Track progress and maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation. Partner with teachers, families, and special education teams to align support strategies. Support early communication development through structured, student-centered intervention.
Active or eligible Washington State SLP license and ESA certification. School-based experience preferred, especially in early childhood settings. Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Strong background clearance and ability to meet all required screening standards Commitment to in-person service delivery (this is a fully on-site position; teletherapy is not available).
