Market context
School-based mental health counselor roles in Ohio are typically driven by ongoing student support needs and the need for licensed staff who can work in educational settings. These positions are competitive because employers often look for a master’s degree, an Ohio LPC or LSW, and experience with school-age populations, while trainees may still be considered if they are in a clinical program. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save research time, and if you apply, confirm how your license status and school counseling experience align with the posting.
