Provide individualized career coaching and guidance to business students on resumes, interviews, and job search strategies. Design and facilitate workshops focused on professional development and the impact of AI on the evolving business landscape.
At the Rohrer College of Business, we recognize that career readiness is essential to student success. Through the Center for Professional Development (RCPD), we support nearly 3,000 undergraduate and graduate business students in building the skills, confidence, and professional presence needed to thrive in today’s dynamic and competitive job market.
Our comprehensive approach integrates one-on-one career coaching, drop-in advising, mock interviews, employer engagement opportunities, professional development workshops, and embedded career curriculum. We place strong emphasis on preparing students for careers across business disciplines while equipping them with the agility to navigate an evolving workforce increasingly shaped by emerging technologies, data-driven decision-making, and artificial intelligence.
The RCPD is seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Career Development Associate to join our team in a part-time, temporary capacity. As a Career Development Associate, you will play a critical role in guiding students through an ever-changing career landscape—helping them not only secure internships and full-time roles, but also understand how technology, automation, and AI are reshaping industries, roles, and required skill sets.
You are a forward-thinking, student-centered professional who is passionate about business careers and understands that the future of work is rapidly evolving. You are energized by helping students navigate ambiguity, adapt to change, and build relevant, future-ready skill sets and connections. You bring both a strong foundation in career development and a curiosity for how emerging technologies—particularly AI—are transforming industries, recruiting processes, and career pathways.
