This is a part-time, adjunct position with the possibility of renewal on a term-by-term basis. We are particularly interested in candidates who can teach courses in our reading/literacy programs. We offer two developmental reading courses for Rowan students depending on their Accuplacer score, Improving Personal Reading Skills and Critical Thinking and Reading of Academic Texts. Both courses focus on comprehension strategies, vocabulary development, study skills, and decision making across a broad spectrum of academic majors.

All positions are contingent upon need for instructors in a given semester and budget appropriations.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States. The University will not sponsor a visa for this position.
In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, and in accordance with the current MOA, Rowan University adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses will be assigned to instructors by College & Department on an as-needed basis.
