The intern will support the head coach in all phases of the swim program, focusing on coaching, teaching, and player development. Additional duties include managing recruiting efforts and monitoring the academic progress of student-athletes.
A bachelor's degree and at least one year of college-level playing or coaching experience are required. Candidates must hold First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications and be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Primarily reporting to the head swim coach, the assistant coach will support the head coach in all phases of the swim program. Responsibilities include coaching and teaching (75%25) and administrative duties (25%25). Coaching responsibilities: Assist with and provide instruction during practices and matches. Support player development through individual and team sessions. Recruiting responsibilities: Assist with both on-campus and off-campus recruiting efforts. Coordinate campus visits for prospective student-athletes. Administrative duties: Monitor academic progress and provide support for student-athletes. Assist with contest management and event operations as needed.
Pennsylvania state minimum wage at 37.5 hours per week. This position includes housing and a meal plan.
Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of 1 year of playing and/or coaching experience at the college level. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a diverse community. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment. First Aid, CPR, and AED Certifications required.
