Collaborate with Special Education Teachers to maintain a safe and caring preschool environment for students. Responsibilities include assisting with physical needs, behavior management, and maintaining classroom supplies.
*10 month position with the option to work summer (extended school year)*
As a Teacher Assistant you will work in our integrated and self contained preschool classrooms and collaborate with the Special Education Teacher to create a safe, warm and caring educational environment for our students. You will follow all OCFS regulations, follow schoolwide PBIS initiative, and collaborate with classroom staff, parents, education consultant, and administration.
High School education or GED, Bachelor's degree preferred.
Two (2) years practical experience working with children is preferred.
Level I NYS Teacher Assistant Certification preferred.
