Administrative Assistant/Office Manager

About the Role

The Administrative Assistant/Office Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office environment. This position is responsible for working collaboratively with the Principal, duties include typing letters/correspondence, scheduling appointments, maintaining student secure file in the Main office.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or equivalent training, minimum of three years of general or school office work.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Successful experience working with children.
  • Proficiency in current software and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate daily office operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, including Google Calendar for assigned administrators.
  • Communicate with the District upon acceptance of new students, complete new student registration process (Preregistration, Portal, Survey).
  • Schedule interviews (certified staff) as directed by principal, conduct reference checks (non-certified staff), distribute paperwork to the Business Office, prepare/distribute staff arrival/departure notice.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments.
  • Maintain/update ‘caseload’ (Google spreadsheet) indicating student services.
  • Organize ESYP registration and coordinate summer mailings.
  • Realtime data entry/management to Update Update/maintain student records.
  • Create/maintain A360 paraprofessional staff records.
  • Manage parent portal; registration of new students.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
