Job Description

Minnesota State College - Southeast Technical seeks a Radiography Instructor dedicated to excellence in teaching who desires to become part of a creative, vibrant, student-centered learning community. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to interdisciplinary and cross-cultural perspectives. Faculty members at Minnesota State College - Southeast Technical are professionally active scholars who participate in departmental and campus-wide activities to enhance their disciplines, promote interdisciplinary discourse and collaboration, and advance the college mission. Duties

Include:

Participating in department and college curriculum development.

Delivering classroom, web-enhanced and/or online course instruction.

Conducting classroom research and other assessment/evaluation activities.

Mentoring and advising students.

Participating in committee assignments and college-wide initiatives.

Participating in department accreditation and review.

Engaging in scholarly and other professional development activities.

Course assignments can include day, evening, and weekend hours and off-site locations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Four full-time (or equivalent) years of verified related paid work experience as a registered technologist
  • Professional Requirement
  • Certified as a Registered Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART)
  • Recency Requirement
  • One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.

Teaching and Learning Competency Requirement

Must meet the Teaching and Learning Competency Requirement prior to the end of probation.
