Job Description

This is a part-time, credit-based position located in Austin, MN. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Riverland Community College, a member of the Minnesota State system, seeks a part-time Assistant Soccer Coach. This position supports the Head Coach in developing and administering all aspects of the soccer program, including practice, competition, recruitment, and student-athlete support.

Salary Range

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. 4 credits per season, ranging in $775.00 -$2396.43 per credit

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma. One (1) year of coaching experience OR three (3) years of playing experience. Valid (active) Driver’s License. Preferred Qualification: Associate’s degree or higher. Knowledge of current styles and techniques and ability to demonstrate these techniques to others. Demonstrated experience working with multicultural and underserved populations. Bilingual/multilingual fluent in Spanish, Karen, Karenni, Somali, Pohnpeian, French, Nuer, Anuak, or other languages that reflect our student body, workforce, and communities.
