Description A Special Education Self-contained Teacher will perform the following duties: Maintain student Service Logs Create and modify student lessons Keep daily Service Logs Conduct small group lessons Provide individual student services Mainstream students into General Education classrooms Collaborate with classroom teachers Provide services to students as outlined in IEP Write Effective IEPs Meet all deadlines Monitor progress Maintain updated Service Schedule Maintain updated caseload lists Provide Accommodations\Modifications Parental contacts w/documentation Facilitate academic testing Facilitate statewide testing Communicate suspensions Attend all required staff meetings File state documents in Special Education file and office Other functions assigned by supervisor Follow all school policies REPORTS TO/TERM: Principal and Special Education Director This is a full time 10-month position
