The Athletic Coach provides safe and developmentally appropriate volleyball instruction while supporting the physical, social, and emotional growth of scholars. Responsibilities include leading practices, managing equipment, and coordinating with school leadership and parents.

Under the supervision of the Principal and/or school Athletic Director, the Athletic Coach coaches scholars in a specific sport during the established season. The Athletic Coach is responsible for providing safe, structured, and developmentally appropriate athletic instruction for scholars while supporting their physical, social, and emotional growth. This role emphasizes scholar supervision, safety, sportsmanship, and collaboration with school leadership to ensure athletic programming aligns with school and league expectations.
Hold the belief that all scholars, regardless of their economic or social demographics, deserve a quality education and can earn a four-year college degree.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for candidates having over one year of coaching experience. Ideal candidates demonstrate a commitment to social justice, a growth mindset, and the ability to build strong relationships with underserved youth.
