As a Pre-K Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality early education to children while supporting their overall development and readiness for school.

  • Responsibilities: Creating and implementing weekly lesson plans that are engaging, developmentally appropriate, and aligned with the program’s designated curriculum and goals Supporting and mentoring Teacher Assistants, interns, and volunteers Conducting developmental screenings, ongoing assessments, and parent-teacher conferences to track and support each child’s progress Collaborating with families, community partners, and program staff to meet educational and family engagement objectives Promoting a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
  • Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field State Preschool through Third Grade or Nursery through Eighth Grade Standard Teaching Certification or Certificate of Eligibility/Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing 1 year of experience in a Pre-K setting or equivalent experience working with children and working with a team Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills A collaborative mindset with a commitment to the mission of supporting children, families and communities

Requirements
