About the role

Provide one-on-one behavioral and emotional support to high school students to build self-regulation and social skills. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to implement individualized support and maintain a safe learning environment.

As a Social Emotional Coach at The Pinnacle School, you will provide one-on-one behavioral and emotional support to students, helping them build self-regulation, social skills, and confidence.

You’ll work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure students thrive both academically and emotionally.

What You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or a related field Experience supporting children or adolescents with behavioral or learning differences Calm, caring, and patient demeanor grounded in professionalism and empathy Strong collaboration, active listening, and communication skills Basic computer proficiency for documentation and communication tasks Availability to work 11 months (this is an 11 month position which includes the academic school year and a 4 week summer program in July) Be available to work Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm What You’ll Do Provide one-on-one classroom support focused on academic engagement, emotional regulation, and social interaction Monitor and document student behavior, progress, and responses to interventions Assist students with self-help and daily living skills to promote independence and confidence Implement de-escalation and calming strategies to maintain safety and support emotional stability Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure consistent, individualized student support Why You’ll Love Working Here Enjoy both paid time off and extra paid school breaks (for select roles), plus paid holidays Wellness perks including gym discounts, mindfulness apps, and prescription savings Tuition reimbursement, career development programs, and leadership training 401(k) retirement savings with a company match and immediate vesting Health, dental, and vision insurance Free Employee Assistance Program with confidential counseling, life coaching, and mental health resources Life insurance, disability coverage, and Health Savings Account (HSA) contributions at no cost to you The Pinnacle School is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
