The Quincy Kroc Center is seeking energetic, caring individuals to serve as After School Counselors in our Kroc Academy program. This part-time role provides support during our after school program, helping create a safe, engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow once the school day ends.

Position Type: Part-time, working up to 19 hours/week
Program Hours: Monday-Friday | 2:00pm-6:00pm
$15.00/hour
Additional Opportunities: Extra hours may be available during School's Out Day Camp and Summer Day Camp programs
After School Counselors serve as mentors and role models for students enrolled in Kroc Academy. This role supports daily programming through homework assistance, enrichment activities, group play, and positive behavior guidance - helping create afternoons filled with learning, creativity, and connection.
Staff over 21 or older who meet eligibility requirements may assist with student transportation for school pick-ups. Counselors who take on driving duties receive an additional driver pay differential for time spent performing those responsibilities.

Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in childcare or education is preferred, along with the physical ability to remain active in a youth program environment.
