In addition to following the curriculum and teaching skills on the ice, the instructor is expected to provide feedback to students during lessons and at the end of the session.
The instructor will work with other instructors and program leadership to ensure that group placement is accurate, testing standards are met, and customer satisfaction is achieved.
This is a Part-time/Substitute figure skating coach for the Plymouth State Ice Arena, Learn to Skate/Play Hockey program.
Duties/Responsibilities Lead group skating lessons for students ages 4 yrs-adult Teach, demonstrate, and evaluate skating skills Ensure a positive and safe environment for all participants Adhere to lesson criteria and testing standards.
Evaluate skaters' progress and accurately report for skater advancement Be able to choreograph group routines for the annual skating show Be available during lesson times: Saturday mornings (Sept-March) and/or Monday afternoons (March-August)
