Position Overview Discovery Kidzone is seeking a Full-Time Infant & Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This position supports the development and daily care of infants and toddlers in a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. We are looking for caring, dependable educators who enjoy working with young children and are passionate about supporting early learning through play, routines, and responsive interactions.
Provide attentive care and supervision for infants and toddlers throughout the day Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, napping, and playtime Prepare bottles and follow proper food storage and sanitation procedures Create engaging learning experiences through music, sensory activities, storytelling, and movement Encourage children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and motor development Maintain a calm, safe, and positive classroom environment Observe and document children’s daily activities and developmental progress Communicate professionally with families regarding routines and milestones Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom operations Maintain cleanliness and organization in accordance with health and safety standards
Must be at least 18 years old Food Handlers Permit Required Previous childcare experience is helpful but not required Interest in infant and toddler development Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to remain patient, attentive, and organized in a fast-paced environment Willingness to complete required state trainings and licensing requirements
