Minimum Qualifications

  • HS Diploma/ GED is required.
  • College level study in a physical education, health education or recreational program preferred.
  • Previous experience in coordinating a similar recreational program
  • Appropriate professional certifications.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
  • New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Blood-borne Pathogens trainings (completed within 90 days of hire)
  • Work schedule: Part time (Less than 28 hrs/Week)
  • Hours are based on the program schedule

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or GED and professional certifications. Preference is given to candidates with college-level study in physical education, health, or recreation.
