Market context

Virginia SLPA roles stay locally competitive

In Virginia, school-based SLPA openings often reflect steady demand in districts supporting students with speech and language services. These roles can be competitive because employers typically look for an SLPA degree, state licensure or eligibility, and prior pediatric or private practice experience, while benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and paid time off can strengthen the offer. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save research time, then confirm your licensure status and tailor your application to school-based support experience.
