The Lead Teacher is responsible for planning, assessing, and instructing 4-year-old children to prepare them for Kindergarten. This includes managing the classroom, implementing curriculum, and building relationships with families.

The purpose of Georgia’s Pre-K Program is to prepare children for success in Kindergarten and later school years. The Pre-K Lead Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing 4-year-old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the program.
