The Pre-K Assistant Teacher instructs 4-year-old children under the guidance of a Lead Teacher to prepare them for Kindergarten. Responsibilities include implementing curriculum, ensuring daily care according to licensing guidelines, and communicating with families.
Georgia’s Pre-K Program is a state funded educational program for all age eligible 4-year-old children in Georgia. The purpose of Georgia’s Pre-K Program is to prepare children for success in Kindergarten and later school years. The Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year-old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the program under the guidance of the Lead Teacher.

Experience in a licensed childcare center or related field.

Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
