The teacher will design and implement individualized learning experiences and IEPs tailored to students with autism. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and supervise classroom staff to ensure academic and social growth.

As a Special Education Teacher at Meliora Academy, you will create individualized learning experiences that help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

You’ll design and implement instruction tailored to each student’s unique needs, using research-based interventions and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure every student thrives.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Comprehensive Special Education (CT 165) certification and have experience with IEPs and evidence-based behavioral strategies. Current Safety Care, First Aid, and CPR certifications are required or must be obtained.
