Our residential programs are ready to hire Bilingual Teachers Assistant to join the team in our Emergency Shelters. We are looking for compassionate, energetic, and dependable individuals that are committed to building a culture of kindness for the children receiving services. Join our team in supporting children in a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. The Teacher Assistant works closely with classroom teachers to help implement educational activities, supervise children, support developmental assessments, and maintain compliance with ORR and licensing standards. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with youth, enjoys making a positive impact, and thrives in a collaborative, multicultural setting. Utilizing agency established behavior management protocols and procedures you will support the youth and assist in building essential life skills.
  • Qualifications
  • To be considered you must have: English /Spanish bilingual capabilities required Education must consist of a high school diploma or equivalent Must have at least 1-year experience supervising, nurturing / caring / meeting basic needs for youth (other than your own) Must have valid Arizona Driver’s license, exhibit the ability to operate shelter vans and/or vehicles safely and be able to be added to company auto policy Must be at least 21 years of age Must possess or be able to obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card Must be able to display verbal and written communication skills that meet the requirements of the position and needs of youths Must maintain all shelter and licensing training and certification requirements Must have computer knowledge / proficiency Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Requirements
