About the role

Create an inclusive, safe, and engaging classroom environment for children with diverse abilities. Guide educational activities, document developmental progress, and collaborate with the teaching team to implement play-based curricula.

Learning Links Preschool, of AbilityPath, is taking on Apprenticeship Teachers in association with Skyline College. Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with diverse abilities? Compensation

  • $24-$28/hour (based on education and experience)
  • Schedule: Full-time Monday – Friday, 8 work hours per day between 8am – 6pm

  • EXPERIENCE: Below is a list of education and work experience qualifications. We encourage you to apply even if you may not meet all the listed qualifications and you are interested in becoming a Preschool Teacher. 12+ core ECE units as per Title 22 requirements preferred but not required- we will help you get your ECE units! Experience teaching children ages 2-5 years old Associate or bachelor’s degree, or working towards completion Learning Links is committed to recruiting and retaining diverse staff; we strongly encourage BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and marginalized candidates to apply!

Requirements

Candidates should have experience teaching children aged 2-5 and are encouraged to have 12+ ECE units or be working toward an associate or bachelor's degree. Must possess a valid CA Driver's License, negative TB test, and pass a criminal fingerprint clearance.
