About the role

About the Role

Our Beginning School is seeking Toddler Teachers for our Reggio Emilia inspired school. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. The Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing age-appropriate projects, assessing children's progress, and communicating with parents and caregivers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong commitment to early childhood education.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience working with young children in a classroom setting
  • Knowledge of child development and early childhood education best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a multicultural and multilingual environment
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment
  • Experience with Reggio Emilia or other child-centered teaching approaches

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum
  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
  • Assess children's progress and communicate with parents and caregivers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's development and progress
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment

The successful candidate will use their strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and caregivers. They will use their knowledge of child development and early childhood education best practices to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment. They will use their creativity and passion for teaching to develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum.

Requirements

Requires an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Candidates must have experience working with young children in a classroom setting and knowledge of child development best practices.
