About the role

Job Description

High School - Medicine

Instruction and/or suppor of instruction in Allied health programs, including Emergency Medical Technician.

Develop EMT course schedules.

Assign student clinical rotations by submitting required documents to clinical affiliates for approval.

Ensure that federal and state regulations, and OBRA regulations as applicable, are followed.

Maintain records for student files according federal and state regulations.

Ensure students complete minimum required number of instructrional and clinical hours prior to advancement or certification exams.

Assists Allied Health Director as needed with special assignments. Maintains facilities to ensure cleanliness and orderly appearance. Support other academic/professional programs including client relations and student support. Other duties as assigned by Director of Allied Health.

Requirements

The instructor is responsible for developing EMT course schedules, assigning clinical rotations, and ensuring all federal and state regulations are followed for student advancement and certification. Duties also include maintaining student records and assisting the Allied Health Director with special assignments and facility upkeep.
