Mt. Olive Early Learning Center (MOELC), a faith-based Seventh-day Adventist early learning center, is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and energetic Lead Toddler 1 Teacher to join our team. If you have a passion for nurturing young children while helping them learn and grow in a Christ-centered environment, we invite you to apply.

  • Rate: $10.00–$12.00 per hour Compensation is based on education, experience, and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered learning environment for toddlers.
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and classroom activities.
  • Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual development.
  • Maintain daily communication with families through ProCare.
  • Complete daily classroom documentation, observations, and incident reports.
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom while following all Bright from the Start health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Follow proper diapering, supervision, and classroom management procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with administration and fellow teachers to create a positive team environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and required trainings.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (Required) Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred or willingness to obtain Minimum of 2 years of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting Knowledge of Georgia Bright from the Start regulations Excellent communication and classroom management skills Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) Preferred Qualities
