Teach a self-contained classroom serving 1st and 2nd grade students. Deliver individualized instruction aligned with each student's IEP goals. Monitor student progress and maintain required educational documentation. Create a safe, engaging classroom where students are encouraged to succeed.
Candidates must hold an active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement and a Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a closely related discipline. Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder is highly preferred. Strong collaboration, classroom management, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
