As a valued member of the student services team, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to create meaningful interventions that promote student success. Provide individual and small-group counseling services. Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student progress. Conduct student assessments and develop intervention strategies. Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions. Respond to crisis situations and provide appropriate social-emotional interventions. Collaborate with teachers, families, and community agencies to coordinate support services.
Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities. Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution. Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement.
