Best Point Education & Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Child & Family Enrichment Home Visitor to support families with children from prenatal stages through age five. In this role, you will provide parent education, developmental support, case management, and community resource coordination to help families create safe, healthy, and nurturing environments that foster children's success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience providing home-based services or working with children ages birth to five is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • What you'll do
  • Conduct home visits and facilitate parent education activities.
  • Partner with families to establish goals and support child development.
  • Coordinate developmental evaluations, transition meetings, and Individual Family Goal Planning meetings.
  • Connect families with community resources and supportive services.
  • Complete intake documentation, developmental screenings, assessments, and required program paperwork.
  • Utilize trauma-informed practices to meet the unique needs of children and families.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and manage a productive caseload.
  • Participate in outreach, recruitment, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
  • Collaborate with community agencies and internal teams to support positive outcomes for families.

Work Environment

Exposed to a combination of office, school and mental health treatment environments. May be exposed to children with behavior problems. May be exposed to shouting and clients who may be verbally and physically aggressive. May be exposed to blood or vomit and bodily fluids.
