About the Role

Hello, School Psychologists! Ampersand Therapy is hiring full-time School Psychologists for a school setting in the Elmwood Park, IL area for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by conducting evaluations, supporting IEP development, and collaborating with school teams. We welcome new clinicians and seasoned professionals alike!

  • + 401(k) with company match $500 Reimbursement for licensure, CEUs, and professional expenses Mileage reimbursement between sites + referral bonuses (up to $3,000 per hire) What You’ll Do Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments Write comprehensive evaluation reports and IEP documentation Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Provide progress monitoring and maintain compliant documentation Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff Support student behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs Assist in developing appropriate interventions and supports Ensure timelines and compliance with state and federal regulations What We’re Looking For Master’s degree in School Psychology (or equivalent) Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement Strong assessment, writing, and collaboration skills School-based experience preferred About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a women and therapist-operated company built by providers who understand school-based work. Requirements
