Market context
In Washington, Speech Language Pathologist openings are often driven by school and pediatric service needs, so candidates with child-focused experience and full licensure tend to stand out. These roles are competitive because employers usually look for a Master’s or PhD, ASHA certification, and a fingerprint background clearance, while benefits commonly include health, dental, vision, 401K, and professional development.
