Provide specialized early childhood special education services to preschool-aged children with diverse developmental and learning needs within local school districts throughout the Elk Grove area. In this role, you'll work closely with families, multidisciplinary teams, and district staff to create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that promote communication, social-emotional growth, independence, and school readiness. Why Join Us: Competitive salaried position ranging from $60,000-$88,000 annually Potential placement bonus up to $10,000 CEU/license reimbursement and tuition assistance Full benefits for full-time employees: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) Paid sick leave, holidays, and vacation School-based schedule aligned with the academic calendar Ongoing professional development and mentorship opportunities Opportunities for career growth within a leading special education organization What You'll Do: Provide individualized and small-group instruction for preschool-aged children with developmental delays and disabilities Develop and implement IEP goals, accommodations, and specialized instructional strategies Create engaging, play-based, developmentally appropriate lessons that promote learning and school readiness Support children's communication, social-emotional, cognitive, adaptive, and early academic development Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, psychologists, behavior specialists, and other multidisciplinary team members Partner with families to support student progress and reinforce developmental goals across school and home environments Monitor, collect, and document student progress toward developmental and IEP goals Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to comprehensive student evaluations and educational planning Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages independence, positive behavior, and meaningful peer interactions Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements Must Have: Valid California Education Specialist Credential (Early Childhood Special Education or Mild/Moderate Support Needs with appropriate authorization) or eligibility Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field DOJ/FBI Live Scan background clearance and TB clearance, as required by the state Ability to develop and implement developmentally appropriate instructional strategies for young children with diverse learning needs Preferred: Experience teaching preschool-aged children in an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE/ECE) setting Knowledge of child development, preschool curriculum, and evidence-based early intervention practices Experience developing and implementing IEPs for young children Familiarity with special education documentation systems (e.g., IEPpro) Strong communication, collaboration, classroom management, and organizational skills About Point Quest Group: Point Quest Group is a leading national provider of special education services, partnering with 350+ school districts to help students with unique needs thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
