For the 2026-2027 School Year | $40-$50/hour | Full-Time | Maple Grove, MN | School-Based | Minnesota Teaching in Deaf & Hard of Hearing Teaching License

About the Role

Teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing is specialized, hands-on work, and it's exactly what you'll do as a DHH Teacher with Point Quest. You'll provide targeted K-12 instruction in ASL and Signing Exact English, apply total communication and auditory-oral approaches, and manage hearing aids, FM units, and cochlear implant processors so your students can engage fully in the classroom. You'll work closely with families and multidisciplinary teams, all on a school-year calendar, to help each student thrive. Why Join Us: CEU/license reimbursement and tuition assistance Full benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) Paid sick time Spread Pay options available What You'll Do: Deliver targeted instruction to meet the goals and objectives outlined in each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP). Employ effective classroom and behavior management techniques to create a safe, functional learning environment for all students. Observe and assess students' academic and social development, maintain detailed records, prepare progress reports, and communicate with parents about individual student progress. Apply total communication or auditory/oral training methods in a self-contained setting to enhance learning outcomes. Provide instruction in Signing Exact English and American Sign Language, using both modalities as appropriate for different subjects and settings. Adjust hearing aids, FM units, and cochlear implant processors as needed, following audiologist's directions to meet the needs of individual students. What We're Looking For: Must have: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution. A valid Minnesota teaching in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Teaching License or proof of pending approved licensure. Teaching experience with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. Knowledge of assistive listening devices and related technology. Criminal Background and DCS Clearance check. Eligibility to work in the US. Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree and a valid Minnesota teaching license in Deaf/Hard of Hearing. Candidates must have teaching experience with DHH students and knowledge of assistive listening devices.
