About the Role
- Hello Special Education Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher to support students in Ellicott, CO. In this role, you'll provide individualized instruction, develop and implement IEPs, and foster an inclusive learning environment where students can thrive. You'll partner with educators, families, and related service providers while receiving support from a therapist-owned team dedicated to student success. This role is ideal for both experienced special education teachers and educators looking to make a meaningful impact with adolescent aged students! - + 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for licensure and professional development, plus referral bonuses What You'll Do Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs Provide specialized instruction across academic subjects Manage classroom behavior and create a structured, supportive learning environment Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data Complete progress reports and maintain compliant documentation Differentiate curriculum and instructional strategies for diverse learning needs Utilize technology and evidence-based practices to support student achievement What We're Looking For Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with a Special Education endorsement Strong classroom management and collaboration skills School-based experience preferred but not required About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a therapist-owned company built by providers who understand school-based work.
