Sacramento Montessori is looking for a passionate and nurturing Infant Teacher to join our dedicated early childhood education team in Sacramento, CA. Closing shift: 8:30-5:30
Provide attentive, responsive care for infants in a safe and nurturing classroom environment Implement age-appropriate Montessori-inspired activities to support cognitive, social, and physical development Maintain accurate daily logs including feeding, sleeping, and developmental observations Communicate regularly and openly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress Ensure classroom cleanliness, safety, and compliance with licensing regulations Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to create a cohesive, supportive learning community Support infant milestones and developmental stages through intentional, child-led interactions
Minimum 12 units in Early Childhood Education (ECE), including 3 infant/toddler units Prior experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or early education setting Knowledge of or interest in Montessori philosophy and infant development principles Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Must meet California Community Care Licensing background check requirements Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for infant care Strong communication and teamwork skills About Us: Sacramento Montessori is a trusted early childhood education center dedicated to fostering independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning in every child.
