Sacramento Montessori is looking for a passionate and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our dedicated team in Sacramento, CA! In this role, you'll have the incredible opportunity to guide our youngest learners through meaningful, hands-on Montessori experiences that lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. If you're energetic, patient, and inspired by early childhood education, we'd love to meet you!

Responsibilities

Plan and implement age-appropriate Montessori curriculum and activities for toddlers Create and maintain a prepared, safe, and engaging Montessori classroom environment Observe and document each child's developmental progress and milestones Foster independence, confidence, and social-emotional development in young learners Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding child development Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive, nurturing school environment Maintain classroom cleanliness and ensure health and safety standards are upheld

Requirements

Experience working with toddlers or in an early childhood education setting Knowledge of or training in Montessori philosophy and methods preferred 12 ECE UNITS Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills Ability to meet the physical demands of working with toddlers, including lifting and active play Must pass a background check in accordance with California state requirements About Us: Sacramento Montessori is a trusted pillar of early childhood education in the Sacramento, CA community, dedicated to nurturing curious, confident, and capable young minds.
