WORK CONDITIONS: The Little Reds Assistant/Associate Teacher is a full-time, 12 month non-exempt position. The individual in this position is expected to work during all hours as may be assigned by the School and during other hours for events and activities. The Little Reds Assistant/Associate Teacher is expected to perform their job duties on campus unless otherwise permitted by the Head of School. COMPENSATION DISCLOSURE: In accordance with Maryland's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, we are committed to providing transparent wage information for all posted job opportunities. The salary range for this position is $20-22 per hour. Compensation is determined based on factors such as Experience, Qualifications, and Internal equity. Education and

Completion of the 90-hour Early Childhood certification, including 45 hours in child development and 45 hours in preschool methods. (see specific requirements for each position listed above). Familiarity with the Reggio Emilia philosophy is a plus. CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
Physical
Requirements: Ability to stand, sit, and move around the classroom for prolonged periods. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, bend, squat, and perform other physical tasks related to cleaning and child care. Must be able to ascend/descend stairs within the school.
