Position: Part-Time Faculty position - Composition Department: Language and Literature Discipline: English Composition Bucks County Community College invites applications for a Part-Time Faculty position in English Composition.

The successful candidate will teach all levels of English Composition courses on campus during daytime hours and support student success through high-quality instruction and meaningful engagement.

Major Job Duties Knowledge of course development, instruction, and evaluation.

Knowledgeable in student learning using appropriate methods.

Conduct an engaging classroom based on the course outline.

Motivate students by demonstrating sensitivity to concerns and actively involving students in classroom discussions and/or activities.

Complete all course assessments as required.

Use technology to enhance teaching/learning in the classroom.

Participating in the assessment process Maintaining current knowledge of professional discipline Attend Fall-In-service session and professional development requirement.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in English or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

Community College teaching experience Background Checks/Clearances Employment with the College will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with College policies.
