Responsibilities

• The LifeWorks School in Doylestown, PA is actively hiring for certified Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 Academic School Year.
• We are now offering a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for a certified Special Education Teacher!
• The LifeWorks Schools are licensed specialty therapeutic day schools for students in middle and high school effected by social, emotional, or behavioral health challenges.

• The Special Education Teacher: provides academic and functional instruction to students diagnosed with Autism or Pervasive Developmental Disorder in a school setting; monitors student academic and functional achievement through data collection, observation, and other quantitative methods; observes and records student progress daily; develops and monitors student’s IEP, reports, goals, objectives, attend IEP meetings, establish, maintain, and work toward student goals as outlined in the IEP; manages student behavior through individualized motivational systems, S.M.A.R.T.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level degree in Special Education required.
• PA certification in Special Education is required.
• Content area certifications preferred.
• Prior experience working with students with behavioral health challenges within a school setting preferred.
